Angie Wilson

Thanks for checking out my work. My name is Angie Wilson. I'm an artist of many medias, and I currently reside in Cincinnati, OH.

I attended the University of Cincinnati, College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, where I majored in Fashion Design. I then worked as a menswear designer for over 15+ years, traveling the world in the process. London, Paris, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Amsterdam, Munich, Florence, Jakarta - and so many more adventures! The Cincinnati-based company was bought out, and I segued into the music industry, thanks to meeting and marrying my musician-husband. I started by creating costumes and stage clothing, and that evolved in 10+ years in theatrical costume design. I found myself often on set for video shoots, and loved the idea of one day creating music video content.

So I did! I used my exposure on set to start creating music videos. I started with directing, and eventually taught myself to edit, and I have even occasionally shot some of the content. I absolutely have a blast with this media, and have had the privilege of working with some very talented artists, DP's and editors. My videos have featured Stefan Lessard (Dave Matthew's Band), Doug Wimbish (Living Colour), Karina Rykman, Sammi Garett (Turkuaz), Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big/David Lee Roth), Mudbone Cooper (Parliament Funkadelic), Nigel Hall (Lettuce) and so many other talented artists.

I developed a love of photography in college, shooting images for my portfolio and my models. I have continued to develop that skill, with some of my work appearing in publications such as Bass Player Magazine, Bass Guitar Magazine, Jambase, Relix Magazine, and many more.

I have also continued to freelance design, primarily graphic design, though I also do some writing. I simply enjoy creating and collaborating. You may even see my name in the credits for writing song lyrics!  :)
